About the role

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee the smooth functioning of daily classes, ensuring each session is well-organized, begins on time, and meets our empowerment goals.
  • Maintain close coordination with volunteer teachers- supporting their onboarding, encouraging their engagement, and helping them succeed in the classroom.
  • Keep accurate attendance records of students and proactively address any dropouts, disengagement, or classroom-related issues.
  • Help design, refine, and adapt curriculum content in collaboration with the team, ensuring it stays relevant to student needs, learning levels, and local context.
  • Take ownership of basic program communications- drafting newsletters, presentations, and reports using tools like Canva or MS Office to share program highlights and progress.
  • Assist senior team members with daily administrative work, both in-office and on-field, to ensure all parts of the program run in sync.
