Software Engineer – Backend Systems, Autonomous Agents

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our Autonomous Agents team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the scalable backend systems that power our intelligent agents. Your work will ensure these agents operate efficiently, reliably, and at scale, enabling seamless integration into various applications and workflows. Key Responsibilities System Design & Development: Architect and implement robust backend services and APIs that support the functionalities of autonomous agents. Scalability & Performance: Ensure backend systems can handle high-throughput and low-latency requirements, optimizing for performance and scalability. Integration: Collaborate with frontend and AI teams to integrate backend services with user interfaces and machine learning models. Monitoring & Maintenance: Set up monitoring tools, logging, and alerting systems to maintain system health and quickly address issues. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms. Industry Experience: Previous experience at leading AI research labs such as Google, Microsoft Research, Amazon AI, Amazon Science, Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
