About the role

Role Summary:
Lead efforts to craft, implement, and manage effective communication strategies that
amplify CEL’s mission, programs, and achievements. The individual will work across teams to create impactful content, manage media relations, oversee branding, and develop campaigns that resonate with stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication
 Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to enhance
visibility and influence.
 Align communication efforts with organizational goals, key events, and advocacy
priorities.
 Tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including industry stakeholders, media, and
policymakers.
Content Development
 Create and edit high-quality content, including press releases, articles, reports,
newsletters, and speeches.
 Oversee content for website, social media platforms, and internal
communications.
 Develop compelling case studies, success stories, and thought leadership pieces to
showcase impact.
Media Relations
 Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry
publications.
 Organize press conferences, media briefings, and interviews to ensure consistent
and positive media coverage.
 Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on reputation and outreach
efforts.
Digital and Social Media Management
 Develop and implement a strong digital communication strategy to enhance online
presence.
 Manage content calendars for social media platforms, ensuring timely and engaging
posts.
 Track and analyze digital metrics to improve online engagement and outreach.
Event Communication
 Lead communication efforts for major events, conferences, and initiatives.
 Prepare event-specific communication materials such as brochures, banners, and
invitations.
 Coordinate live event coverage across digital platforms, including live tweeting and
video streaming.

Branding and Public Relations
 Ensure consistency and adherence to branding guidelines across all
communication channels.
 Develop public relations campaigns to strengthen image as a thought leader
and advocate for industry growth.
 Identify opportunities to promote  work through partnerships, sponsorships, and
strategic collaborations.
Qualifications & Experience:
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or
related fields.
 4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, or public
affairs.
 Prior experience in managing communications for large organizations, nonprofits, or
industry associations is preferred.
