The
Manager - SAP role at Sapat International Pvt Ltd is a critical position responsible for the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of our SAP systems. This role involves working closely with various business units, including Finance, Operations, and Sales, to understand their needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the SAP Basis infrastructure, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.
- Oversee the SAP FICO module, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
- Lead and participate in SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with business users to identify and resolve SAP-related issues, providing timely and effective support.
- Develop and maintain SAP documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
- Manage SAP security roles and authorizations, ensuring data access is appropriately controlled.
- Coordinate with external SAP consultants and vendors as needed, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Required Skillset
- 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP FICO roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain SAP Basis environments, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and security administration.
- Proven expertise in SAP FICO, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
- Experience leading and participating in SAP implementation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live support.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex SAP-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, IT colleagues, and external vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
