Job Title: SAP VC Functional Consultant
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP VC Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (VC) and integration with SAP PP and SD modules. The candidate will be responsible for configuring product variants, designing configuration models, and supporting implementation and enhancement projects related to configurable products.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Variant Configuration
SAP VC Consultant Functional Technical Defines the product model writes syntax for dependencies preconditions constraints procedures and configures the user interface for sales agents
Product Modeler Engineer Translates engineering specifications into SAP VC master data characteristics classes
SAP OTC OrdertoCash Analyst Ensures the configured product flows correctly from sales order entry to production
Core Responsibilities
Master Data Setup Creating characteristics features classes type 300 and configuring profiles for materials
Modeling Rules Writing complex dependencies to guide user choices validate combinations and calculate values
Super BOM Routing Maintaining super bills of materials and routings that contain all possible components operations tailored by configuration
System Testing Simulation Using the simulation tool CU50 to test product configurations pricing and BOM explosions before live use
Maintenance Support Supporting engineering change management for product models and enhancing functionality based on business needs
Advanced Variant Configuration AVC Managing highvolume inmemory configuration in S4HANA for better performance

SD Sales Distribution Sales order configuration and pricing
PP Production Planning Variant BOM and Routing explosion
MM Material Management Material Master maintenance
SAP Business Technology Platform Leveraging the Variant Configuration service for external applications
