About the Role: We are looking for SAP User Access Management Expert, reporting to ERP UAM Lead, to support complex business transformations and programs in the area of SAP security and access while helping to implement and sustain future Access Control and GRC tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and guidance on User Access Management (UAM) and authorization frameworks across ERP systems, specializing in SAP ecosystem (S/4 HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, GRC AC) and identity management platforms (Saviynt).
- Own and govern the SAP role design lifecycle (build, test, deploy) for BAU and project activities, ensuring compliance with standards, naming conventions, and risk‑based access principles.
- Provide UAM expertise in project requirements gathering, planning, and resource estimation to ensure accurate scoping and delivery.
- Own UAM deliverables within project teams, ensuring timely risk and issue resolution, and support seamless transition from project hypercare to RUN operations.
- Partner with ERP AMS UAM, SAP GRC, and Saviynt teams to safeguard the UAM core model, collaborating with offshore support teams to assess operational requirements, resolve service issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support UAM solution stability through active participation in change and incident management processes, ensuring effective task prioritization.
- Address UAM escalations, incidents, security breaches, and audit findings, collaborating with Digital and Business stakeholders to ensure timely user support and resolution.
- Review metrics, monitor KPIs and escalate on the potential resource gaps.
- Support on Regulatory and Compliance activities in UAM domain: UAM process audits (for the SOX campaigns), Annual User Access review, design and management of security and monitoring controls.
- Remain up to date on company’s standards, digital industry practices and emerging standards.
- Contribute to animate key users community, seeking to raise users awareness and process improvements in UAM area.
- Collaborate with the enhancement process for the UAM program, including SAP GRC Access Control, Business Roles Management and Emergency Access Management.
- Act as IT control owner for ERP Systems and collaborate with other AMS/AIMS colleagues for ITGS / Audit matters.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and consult AMS UAM teams on the deep technical UAM and authorizations related topics and configurations across ERP, SAP GRC AC and/or Saviynt systems.
- Support on the agenda and coordinate systems downtime support activities and systems upgrades from UAM PoV.
- Perform expertise within the risk & impact analysis, for authority checks across new developments and enhancements to roles design.
- Ensure that SoD risks are covered by the corresponding Key Users involvement.
- Be proactive and share expertise and best practices around UAM and authorizations area, to initiate and support systems health check and clean out activities to keep the design consistent and secured.
- Oversee sensitive access provisioning under Emergency Access Management framework, ensuring proper approval workflows and validation controls are maintained.
- Lead UAM documentation creation and review, and deliver training programs for key users and stakeholder communities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Authorizations and User Access Management across S/4 HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP GRC Access Control 10.0+.
- Knowledge of Identity Management solutions (e.g., Saviynt) is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in coaching and leading small UAM teams is a plus.
- Proven experience in applicability of emerging technologies with strong focus on automation and AI.
- Projects experience, involving Agile and Digital methodologies.
- Ability to evaluate risk and communicate it in a fact-based manner.
- IT transformation experience in a global company, preferably in a FMCG and/or FMCH context having understanding of modern User & Access Management concepts and best practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with UAM teams across vendor organizations, with strong vendor management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of stakeholders effectively and comprehensibly, ability to defend the Core Model position.
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), GxP compliance standards, SOX audit requirements, and internal control best practices.
- Experience in IT service management and tools (ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira/Confluence, SAP Solution Manager).
- Proven ability to work in multi-cultural environment and facilitating workshops.
- At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools.
- Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
- Knowledge of emerging technological trends, with capability to explore AI applications and their practical implementation within UAM practices and processes.
