Role Description The SAP Transportation Management Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The consultant will configure, implement, and support SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) solutions, including freight planning, execution, and settlement processes. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, designing process flows, and preparing functional specifications in collaboration with technical teams. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to optimize logistics operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth integration with related SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI. The consultant will also prepare documentation, conduct training sessions, participate in testing cycles, and support continuous process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret business needs, analyze transportation data, and identify process improvements.
- Experience in Management Consulting and Consulting to guide stakeholders through SAP TM implementation and change management.
- Understanding of Finance processes and cost structures related to transportation, billing, and settlement in an SAP environment.
- Knowledge of Business Process design, mapping, and optimization, particularly in logistics, supply chain, and transportation management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management configuration and integration with core SAP modules (SD, MM, FI).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in on-site client engagement, requirement workshops, and end-user training is beneficial.
