Role Objective
To build and continuously deliver structured SAP S/4HANA end-user training across all departments, so that every user — from shop floor to management — reaches and maintains transaction-level proficiency in their role. This is a dedicated, year-round training role: the primary deliverable is capable SAP users, not project support.
Key Responsibilities
Course & content development
- Design role-based and module-based training curricula (MM, PP, QM, SD, FICO, PM, etc.) mapped to how each department actually uses SAP.
- Create training materials: transaction-level SOPs, quick-reference cards, cheat-sheets, screen-recorded walkthroughs, and short e-learning modules.
- Keep all materials current as configurations, movement types, and business processes change post go-live.
Training delivery
- Conduct classroom and hands-on sessions in the sandbox/QAS environment on a rolling annual calendar.
- Onboard every new joiner on the SAP transactions relevant to their role.
- Run periodic refresher and upskilling sessions for existing users, especially where errors or workarounds are creeping in.
- Support training for new rollouts, change requests, and additional modules as they come live.
Assessment & tracking
- Assess proficiency through practical tests and evaluations; maintain a competency record per user and department.
- Track training coverage and identify gaps proactively.
- Collect feedback after each session and iterate on content.
Coordination
- Work with functional consultants, department SPOCs, and power users to stay aligned with the live system and upcoming changes.
- Maintain the central training documentation library.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience; prior SAP end-user exposure (ideally S/4HANA) strongly preferred. Strong candidates from a functional/operations background with SAP fluency and teaching aptitude are welcome.
- Working familiarity with at least one or two SAP modules and general SAP navigation.
