Job Title: SAP TM Consultant (Automotive Specialist)
Location: Remote (India)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Timing: IST 2 PM to 10 PM
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Consultant to support the implementation of SAP Transportation Management (TM) as part of an ongoing S/4HANA transformation program in NA.
This role is part of Phase 2, following an SAP EWM implementation, where SAP TM will replace the legacy LE-TRA module (end-of-life).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and configuration of SAP TM
• Support LE-TRA to TM transition
• Implement outbound shipments (initial phase), followed by inbound
• Work on:
o Delivery split & consolidation
o Carrier selection & freight optimization
o multi-modal transportation planning
• Ensure OEM compliance (EDI, ASN, labeling)
• Collaborate on EWM, Warehouse & Yard integration
• Work closely with SD, MM, PP modules for end-to-end process alignment
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in SAP TM (S/4HANA preferred)
• Experience in TM implementation or LE-TRA migration
• Knowledge of EWM integration
• Working knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP
• Experience with EDI, ASN, and logistics compliance
Domain Requirement (Mandatory):
• Automotive Supplier experience (Tier-1 / Tier-2)
• Experience in shipping parts to OEMs (JIT/JIS environments)
Note: Candidates with only Automotive OEM (vehicle distribution) experience will not be considered.
