Position: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant + Payroll – 6–8 Years Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: India (Remote)


Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant with 6–8 years of experience in EC implementation, configuration, and Payroll Replication. The consultant will lead end-to-end EC deployments and integrations with SAP Payroll systems, ensuring seamless HR master data flow between SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll platforms.


Key Responsibilities

· Gather business requirements and conduct EC workshops

· Prepare Workbooks / Solution Design Documents

· Configure and implement:

o Employee Central (Core HR)

o Position Management

o Workflows & Business Rules

o Foundation Objects & MDF

· Design and manage Payroll Replication (EC → SAP Payroll/ECP)

· Configure replication using:

o Data Replication Monitor (DRM)

o Employee Data Replication framework

o Payroll Control Center validations

· Manage integrations with:

o SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll

o Time systems

o Third-party payroll vendors

· Create Functional Specifications for integrations and custom objects

· Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll runs)

· Handle production support and incident resolution

· Lead data migration and cutover activities


Required Skills

· 6–8 years of SAP HR / SuccessFactors experience

· Minimum 2–3 end-to-end Employee Central implementations

· Strong hands-on knowledge of:

o EC data model & configuration

o Business Rules

o Workflows

o Role-Based Permissions (RBP)

o MDF objects

· Solid experience in:

o Payroll Replication setup

o Mapping EC to Payroll infotypes

o Replication error handling

o Payroll integration troubleshooting

· Experience writing BBP, Functional Specs, and Configuration documents

· Strong knowledge of HR master data and payroll processes

· Good stakeholder management and communication skills


Good to Have

· Knowledge of Time Tracking / Time Off

· Integration Center / OData APIs

· Certification in SuccessFactors EC


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in HR/IT/Engineering or related field

· SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification preferred
