Role: SAP Solutions Architect (8 years of relevant experience)
Work Engagement: Full Time-Contract (Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, 9-5 UK time zone, no moonlighting)
Project Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote (India based, Immediate joiners preferred)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solutions Architect with strong expertise in SAP architecture and global e-invoicing implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), integration with platforms such as Edicom, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end e-invoicing projects across geographies.
This role requires both strategic architectural capabilities and strong functional understanding of regulatory e-invoicing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP-based e-invoicing solutions.
- Design and oversee integrations between SAP systems and third-party e-invoicing platforms (e.g., Edicom).
- Implement and configure SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) for global statutory compliance.
- Collaborate with business, tax, and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with local and global regulatory requirements.
- Drive end-to-end e-invoicing project lifecycle including solution design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant SAP architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across multiple country rollouts.
- Stay updated with evolving global e-invoicing mandates and compliance frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP architecture.
- Proven experience in implementing SAP DRC.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP with Edicom/similar e-invoicing platforms.
- Prior experience delivering end-to-end e-invoicing projects (multi-country preferred).
- Strong understanding of global tax and regulatory compliance frameworks related to e-invoicing.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with global stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

9. Please be advised that this is a fulltime contract role for 6 months, meaning - Mon to Fri, 8 working hrs/day, 9-5 UK time zone. (NO pay for Saturday, Sunday and other holidays). Please acknowledge that you are OK with this.
10. No moonlighting will be entertained. We will not entertain candidates to work for other companies/projects while working on this project. Please confirm if have understood this and can abide by this?
11. As this is a contract role, we DO NOT pay a monthly salary, instead we honour monthly invoice payouts - excluding holidays and weekends. With this in mind, can you please share your CONTRACT RATE/DAY in INR.
12. As this is a contract role, there are NO leaves assigned. Candidate is expected to work Mon-Fri, 8 hrs/day, 9-5 UK time zone, unless they have informed the team of their absence. Please confirm that you're OK with this.
13. There will be 2 rounds of interviews. Each round will be a combination of technical + behavioural + situational. Please acknowledge that you are OK with this.
14. Potential candidates’ will be requested to share their latest 3 payslips/invoices. Please acknowledge that you are ok with this.
15. There will be a background verification check conducted on the selected candidates where you'll be asked to enter your UAN number. This is a mandatory step. Please confirm that you are ok with this.
16. A fixed contractual per day rate will be confirmed, and payment for monthly approved timesheets will be made on 15th of the following month. Please confirm that you are ok with this.
17. If your notice period is 30+ days, then we may keep your profile on hold as we are looking for immediate joiners. Please confirm that you are ok with this.
