Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive SAP Service Management Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and supporting SAP Service Management processes, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and support SAP Service Management processes including service orders, service notifications, warranties, and contracts.
• Work on end-to-end service lifecycle: service request → planning → execution → billing.
• Customize and enhance SAP modules such as SAP CS (Customer Service) and SAP S/4HANA Service Management.
• Integrate Service Management with other SAP modules like SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Handle service master data including equipment, functional locations, and service materials.
• Support field service processes including technician scheduling, dispatching, and mobility solutions (e.g., SAP FSM / Movilizer).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Work closely with ABAP developers for enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.
• Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Participate in testing activities (Unit Testing, UAT) and support go-live and hypercare phases.
• Prepare documentation such as functional specs, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Provide user training and support to business teams.
• Ensure SLA adherence and deliver support in line with agreed timelines.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Work Timings & Expectations
- Shift starts from 12:00 PM IST onwards
- Willingness to support weekend rotations
- Availability for on-call support to ensure 24/7 client coverage
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience in SAP Service Management (SM)
- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
