Job details:
- Deep order to cash configuration mastery covering enterprise structure, customer master, material master, sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories, copy control, and output determination.
- Pricing configuration at expert level including condition technique, condition tables, access sequences, condition types, pricing procedures, and group conditions. Comfort with rebates, freight, taxes, and intercompany pricing.
- Strong command of credit management, delivery and shipping, picking and packing, route
determination, transportation, billing, intercompany billing, returns, complaints, and revenue
recognition.
- Hands on experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations of which at least one is an ECC to S/4HANA brownfield or selective data conversion migration. Greenfield S/4HANA experience is welcome as an additional asset.
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA simplifications relevant to SD, including the Business Partner model, the new revenue accounting framework, advanced ATP, settlement management, and the changes to pricing and output management.
- Solid grasp of cross module integration touchpoints with FICO (revenue, taxes, account determination), MM (procurement, ATP, STO), PP (make to order, available to promise), QM, and EWM or LE.
- Experience handling export sales, foreign trade, customs, intercompany STO, third party order processing, consignment, scheduling agreements, and service order to cash flows. Aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing exposure is strongly preferred.
Technical Capabilities, Mandatory
- Ability to read and debug ABAP. You should be able to step through code with a developer, follow user exits, and review BAdI implementations relevant to sales orders, deliveries, and billing.
- Strong table level fluency. Comfortable querying VBAK, VBAP, VBRK, VBRP, LIPS, LIKP, KONV, KONP, A tables for pricing, and the new S/4HANA tables and CDS views that replace classic SD tables.
- Hands on with data migration tooling such as LTMC, LSMW, BODS, or SAP Migration Cobject objects. You should have personally executed master data and open transactional data loads for SD in a migration.
- Comfort with RICEFWS estimation and ownership. You should be able to write a functional spec a developer can build from, review the technical spec back, and unit test the build.
- Working knowledge of integration channels including IDOC processing for sales orders and billing, EDI flows such as ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, and BAPIs such as BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
- Exposure to Fiori app catalog for SD roles, embedded analytics, and the ability to identify the right Fiori app or transaction for a user persona.
- Ability to write and execute SQL or use ABAP table browser, ST05 tracing, SE16N, ST22 short dumps, and SLG1 application logs for root cause analysis. Comfort with debugger breakpoints and watchpoints is
