Job Title: SAP SD Lead Consultant Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SAP SD Lead Consultant with strong expertise in
Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes to lead SAP SD design, configuration, and implementation activities. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing SAP SD solutions, and leading the SD team during implementation and change requests. The role requires hands-on experience in
S/4HANA and ECC environments, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD solutions.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP SD functionalities including document types, number ranges, pricing procedures, pricing conditions, return orders, and rebilling processes.
- Lead the Sales and Distribution (SD) team in the design, development, and deployment of business requirements and change requests.
- Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet business requirements while aligning with industry best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the implemented solutions meet business needs.
- Participate in and lead full lifecycle SAP implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare and deliver business blueprints, functional specifications, and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Accounting, and Controlling to ensure smooth integration with O2C processes.
- Support the implementation of business change requests based on existing SAP solutions.
- Ensure efficient integration of SD with other SAP modules and related processes.
Experience Required
- 7-8 years of experience working as an SAP consultant with strong expertise in SAP SD.
- Hands-on experience in SAP SD/O2C implementations and rollout projects.
- Experience working in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Proven experience leading SD teams or acting as an SD Lead Consultant in large SAP projects.
Must Have Skills
- Strong experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
- In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Hands-on experience in full lifecycle SAP implementation or rollout projects.
- Experience in SAP SD configuration including:
- Document types
- Number ranges
- Pricing procedures
- Pricing conditions
- Returns and rebilling processes
- Strong experience in business requirement analysis and SAP solution mapping.
- Experience in business blueprint preparation and functional documentation.
- Ability to lead SD teams and manage implementation activities.
- Good understanding of integration between SD and Finance modules.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+).
- Knowledge of RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) integration.
- Experience working with cross-functional modules such as Finance, Accounting, and Controlling.
- Experience supporting enhancements and change requests in SAP environments.
- Exposure to S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
