Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP SD GTS Consultant to drive end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Global Trade Services processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP GTS along with integration knowledge across SAP modules and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a process expert in designing and managing SAP project templates
- Take end-to-end ownership of all SAP GTS areas including Compliance, Customs, and Trade Preference
- Lead solution design and process mapping for international trade and foreign trade processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
- Provide optimized solutions aligned with business objectives
- Lead end-to-end S/4HANA O2C implementations and rollout projects
- Handle integration of SAP GTS with feeder systems (SAP SD and others)
- Support blueprinting, rollout, and business process management activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, business users)
- Ensure timely delivery aligned with project timelines and roadmap
- Drive effective communication with stakeholders and leadership
- Mentor team members and support conflict resolution during project execution
Must-Have Skills - 8+ years of experience in SAP O2C (Order-to-Cash)
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on SAP GTS consulting experience
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP GTS Compliance Management
- Customs Management
- Risk Management
- Mandatory experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation projects
- Hands-on experience in:
- SAP GTS configuration
- Integration with feeder systems
- Strong understanding of international trade / foreign trade processes
- Experience in process mapping and solution design
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in cross-cultural and global environments
Nice-to-Have Skills - Understanding of:
- P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP TM (Transportation Management)
- Experience in process template design and standardization
- Exposure to multiple client environments / global rollouts
- Strong planning and project management skills
Qualifications
- BE / BTech / MCA / MTech
- Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations
