Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong functional expertise and hands-on implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the Retail industry and will be comfortable working in a remote, self-directed environment with global client interaction.
Key Responsibilities → Facilitate implementation and support of SAP SD with preference for Retail industry experience → Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions → Facilitate workshops to collect and document business requirements → Map client business requirements, processes and objectives and develop necessary product modifications → Design, customize, configure and test SAP SD module → Identify gaps, issues and workaround solutions → Document functional designs, test cases and results → Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements → Act as liaison between business functions and technical team → Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required → Work self-directed and independently — may mentor junior team members
Required Skills and Experience → 6-8 years of hands-on SAP SD functional experience → Strong implementation experience — minimum 2 end-to-end implementations mandatory → Experience in Retail industry is a strong advantage → Knowledge of S/4HANA preferred → Strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules → Excellent communication skills — client facing role → Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously → Open to travel to global client locations as required
Candidate Profile → North India based candidates preferred → Immediate joiner or maximum 30 days notice period → Stable work history — consistent project experience preferred → Commerce or business background preferred
