Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work from home. The SAP Sales Distribution Consultant will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing end-to-end sales and distribution business processes within SAP SD. The role includes configuring SAP SD modules, managing order-to-cash cycles, handling pricing, billing, and shipping, and resolving day-to-day functional issues. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support testing, training, and go-live activities. Ongoing responsibilities include providing post-implementation support, preparing documentation, and contributing to continuous process improvements aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business requirements and translate them into actionable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution is required.
- Implementation and testing of business requirements by customizing and creation of programming specifications.
- Provide consulting, end-user training and 2nd and 3rd level support worldwide.
- Collaborate with our international and especially German team to design, develop, and implement SAP solutions based on business requirements.
- Strong expertise in Sales & Distribution (SD) module is a must
- Additional expertise in Customer Sales module or SAP S/4HANA Service would be an advantage
- Technical expertise in ABAP e.g. debugging and analysis of ABAP code (programs, user-exits and copy controls etc.) to take this into account in concepts, user support or to implement small adjustments
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates should have very good English skills are essential for effective communication with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- Cultural awareness - people with an international background would be an advantage.
- Willingness to take responsibility and process-oriented thinking.
- We prefer candidates from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Bangalore locations.
