SAP SD Functional Responsibilities:
· Lead and support end-to-end SAP SD processes, including:
o Order to Cash (O2C)
o Sales Order Processing
o Delivery, PGI, Billing, and Outputs
o Pricing and Condition Technique
· Configure and support SAP SD business scenarios, including:
o Third Party Sales
o Rebate Processing
o Intercompany Sales
o Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
o ATP and Availability Check
· Perform detailed SAP SD configuration for:
o Sales document types, item categories, and schedule lines
o Pricing procedures, access sequences, and condition types
o Output determination (order, delivery, billing)
o Copy controls and incompletion procedures
Implementation & Rollout Experience
· Actively involved in a minimum of 2 full life cycle SAP implementations or rollouts, including:
o Requirement gathering and business blueprint
o Functional design and configuration
o Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT support
o Cutover planning and Go-Live support
· Participate in post go-live support, stabilization, and enhancements.
Data Migration & Master Data
· Hands-on experience with LSMW and other data migration tools for:
o Customer Master
o Material Master
o Pricing and Condition Records
· Perform manual data maintenance activities and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with cross-functional teams for integration with:
o SAP MM (Pricing, STO, Third Party Sales)
o SAP FI (Billing, Accounting, Revenue Recognition)
o SAP PP and WM/EWM (where applicable)
· Collaborate with technical teams for:
o Functional Specifications (FS)
o Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and Forms
Stakeholder & Support Responsibilities
· Interact with business users to understand requirements and propose optimal SAP solutions.
· Provide functional leadership and guidance to junior consultants.
· Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including:
o Business Blueprints
o Configuration Documents
o Test Scripts and User Manuals
· Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
· 8–10 years of strong functional experience in SAP SD
· In-depth knowledge of Sales, Delivery, PGI, Billing, Outputs, and Pricing
· Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration
· Experience with LSMW and master/transactional data maintenance
· Strong understanding of SD business processes and integration points
Preferred / Added Advantage
· Relevant SAP Certification (SAP SD / S/4HANA Sales)
· Exposure to S/4HANA is an added advantage
· Experience in global rollout projects
