Role Description<
/strong> This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vashi, Mumbai for a SAP Sales Distribution Specialist. The specialist will configure and maintain SAP SD modules, manage end-to-end order-to-cash processes, and ensure accurate handling of quotations, sales orders, deliveries, billing, and returns. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into SAP solutions, and optimizing sales and distribution processes for efficiency and compliance. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting SD-related issues, maintaining master data, preparing documentation, and supporting users through training and guidance. The specialist will also partner with cross-functional teams such as finance, logistics, and IT to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP Sales & Distribution skills, including configuration, customization, and support of core SD processes.
- Hands-on experience in Order Management, covering quotations, sales orders, deliveries, invoicing, and returns.
- Ability to analyze and optimize Business Processes within the order-to-cash cycle, with solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience managing Master Data related to customers, materials, pricing, and conditions within SAP SD.
- Prior experience as an SAP SD consultant or specialist, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-vertical business environment.
- Understanding of integration between SD and other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and CRM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; SAP SD certification is an advantage.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in Mumbai.
