Job Description – SAP Sales Specialist
Location: Pune / Mumbai / Hyderabad / Bangalore
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Sales Specialist to drive business growth across the India market. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in enterprise solution sales with a balanced exposure to both hunting (new business acquisition) and farming (account management & growth).
The role involves selling SAP-led digital transformation solutions and engaging with enterprise customers across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales for SAP solutions and services across the India market
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new enterprise clients
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, business stakeholders, and decision-makers
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and alliance teams to create winning proposals
- Manage RFP/RFI processes, commercial negotiations, and contract closures
- Develop strategic account plans and sales pipelines
- Achieve assigned revenue and business growth targets
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in SAP sales.
- Strong exposure to the India market
- Proven experience in both hunting and farming roles
- Understanding of SAP offerings such as S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud, SAP AMS, or digital transformation services
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative selling skills
- Experience working with enterprise and mid-market clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred Background
- Experience working with IT services companies, SAP partners, or system integrators
- Existing relationships with enterprise clients across manufacturing, retail, BFSI, pharma, telecom, or public sector domains would be an advantage
