Role: Sap S4 HANA Embedded Analytics Lead
Location: Remote
Work Timings: 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST
Requirement: SAP CDS View Development for Reporting in S/4HANA Private Cloud.
We are looking for support with the design, development, and optimization of SAP CDS Views to enable reporting in an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment.
Scope of Work:
- Analyze reporting requirements and identify required SAP data sources.
- Design and develop custom CDS Views using standard SAP best practices
- Extend or enhance standard CDS Views where applicable.
- Build analytical, consumption, interface, and basic CDS Views as needed.
- Enable CDS Views for reporting tools such as SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, or other downstream reporting platforms.
- Apply appropriate annotations for analytics, authorization, UI, and performance.
- Implement authorization checks using DCL roles where required.
- Validate data accuracy against source SAP tables and business processes.
- Optimize CDS Views for performance, reusability, and maintainability.
- Support testing, defect resolution, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing complex scenarios using SAP CDS Views to support reporting and analytics.
- Strong experience on Embedded Analytics, including the creation of analytical queries, KPIs, and Fiori-based analytical reports
- Experience developing and enhancing SAP Forms integrated with S/4Hana.
- Solid SQL skills with the ability to write, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Good understanding of SQL Server databases, including data structures and query performance.
- Experience reading and interpreting existing SQL code to support reporting and data analysis.
- Proven experience in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting, including migration or consolidation of BOBJ reports onto the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
