Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with Retail Domain expertise to join a growing enterprise transformation team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) along with a solid understanding of retail business processes and SAP integrations.
This role is best suited for professionals who have worked on SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementations, especially within retail environments involving procurement, merchandising, and finance operations.
What the Client is Looking For:
Strong expertise in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)
Mandatory experience in the Retail Industry (3–4 years minimum)
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA
Experience in full-cycle S/4HANA implementations
Knowledge of R2R (Record to Report) processes
Strong understanding of financial closing, reporting, AP/AR, GL, Asset Accounting
Experience integrating finance with procurement, merchandising & supply chain modules
Exposure to IFRS/GAAP compliance & tax regulations
Ability to support business users and manage stakeholder communication
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA FI & CO modules for retail operations
• Manage GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Profitability Analysis & financial reporting
• Work on period-end closing, audit controls, and compliance processes
• Integrate finance modules with procurement and supply chain systems
• Automate financial reporting and improve operational efficiency
• Provide L3 support and conduct user training/workshops
Good to Have
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
• Experience with Group Reporting / BPC
• Strong stakeholder management
