Job Title: SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer (RAP / BTP)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with strong expertise in RAP
(RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and SAP BTP. This role involves building modern, cloud-ready
applications, extending standard SAP solutions, and contributing to scalable architecture in S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop solutions using Core ABAP (RICEF objects) including:
Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms
IDocs, Proxies, Adobe Forms
Develop and enhance applications in S/4HANA using:
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Build and deploy applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry ABAP Environment).
• Extend standard SAP Fiori applications and integrate them with backend services.
• Configure and deploy apps on Fiori Launchpad (Central Launchpad).
• Develop and expose APIs and services using REST-based architectures.
• Work with Business Application Studio (BAS) and Web IDE for full-stack development.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and audit mechanisms (Application Logs, Audit Logs).
• Collaborate with architects to review and propose cloud-based solution architectures.
• Ensure adherence to modern software engineering practices:
- Code reviews
- Version control
- Testing and deployment processes
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of strong SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on expertise in:
o S/4HANA ABAP development
o CDS Views and OData Services
o RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) – minimum 2+ years
• Experience with SAP BTP / ABAP on Cloud (2+ years).
• Strong experience in:
o IDocs, Proxies, Adobe Forms
o APIs and integration patterns
o Application & Audit Logs
• Experience extending and customizing SAP Fiori applications.
• Proficiency in development tools:
o Business Application Studio (BAS)
o SAP Web IDE
Good to Have
• UI5 / SAP Fiori frontend development experience.
• Experience with BTP services such as:
o Workflow Management
o Document Management
o Mobile Services / SDK
o Java-based services
• Exposure to Agile/DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
