Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise SAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ABAP on SAP S/4HANA, object-oriented programming, RICEFW developments, performance optimization, and integration with functional modules. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop custom ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows (RICEFW).
· Develop OOABAP solutions and optimize code for SAP HANA.
· Work on CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and HANA optimized developments wherever applicable.
· Develop SmartForms, SAPscript and Adobe Forms.
· Perform debugging, root cause analysis, code reviews and performance tuning.
· Support data migration using BAPI, BDC, LSMW and standard migration tools.
· Collaborate with Functional Consultants (FI/MM/SD etc.) to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
· Prepare technical specifications and maintain technical documentation.
· Participate in Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, deployments and Hypercare support.
· Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
· Follow SAP development standards, transport management and change management processes.
Required Technical Skills
· 6–8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
· Strong ABAP, OOABAP and ABAP on SAP HANA.
· Experience with RICEFW objects.
· Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP and OData Services.
· Experience using Eclipse ADT and SAP Web IDE.
· Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and HANA data models.
· Integration knowledge across FI, MM and SD modules.
· Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
· Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 is preferred.
· Experience with Git/CTS+, ChaRM or transport management is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA or equivalent.
Preferred Certifications
• SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver / SAP S/4HANA
• SAP S/4HANA Certification
