Position Description
SAP RTR (Record to Report) Consultant
Role Overview
The SAP RTR Consultant will be responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end Finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient period-end close.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting & RE-FX
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance requirements
- Work on integration with PTP, OTC, and Retail modules
- Analyze and resolve production issues and support UAT cycles
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support data migration and reconciliation activities
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI) on S/4HANA
- Expertise in Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Knowledge of Fiori finance apps
- Experience in interfaces, IDocs, and financial integrations
- Understanding of taxation and compliance
Experience
- 6–10 years in SAP Finance (RTR domain)
- At least 1 S/4HANA implementations or upgrades
- Experience with SAP Fiori
- Understanding of interfaces (IDocs, APIs, integrations)
- Exposure to Agile delivery model
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience in UAT and production support environments
- Experience working in retail, fuel, or convenience store business environments is highly desirable.
