Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a SAP Project Manager – Service Delivery, based in Bhopal. The role involves leading end-to-end SAP project implementation and service delivery activities, particularly for plant maintenance and related business processes. The SAP Project Manager will coordinate requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and post-go-live support, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs. The position requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, external partners, and management to prioritize initiatives, manage project timelines, mitigate risks, and optimize SAP usage. The role also includes monitoring system performance, driving process improvements, preparing documentation and reports, and ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP Project Management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Hands-on experience with Plant Maintenance and related SAP modules, with the ability to translate operational requirements into system solutions.
- Solid understanding of Business Process design and optimization, including mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, performance tracking, and decision-making in complex project environments.
- Proven track record in SAP Project Implementation, covering full lifecycle activities from blueprint to go-live and stabilization.
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience, with substantial experience in SAP-led projects and service delivery in large infrastructure or EPC organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP or project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage multiple stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and accountability.
