About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager with a strong functional background and proven ability to lead large-scale SAP programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing end-to-end SAP project lifecycles, including implementations, migrations, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end SAP project lifecycle including planning, execution, delivery, and post-go-live support
- Define and document project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria
- Monitor project progress, track quality metrics, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Conduct regular status reviews, audits, and reporting
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Act as the single point of contact for all project-related communications
- Facilitate regular meetings to track progress, address risks, and gather feedback
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical teams, and developers
- Manage third-party vendors and consultants involved in project delivery
- Address resource constraints and ensure optimal team utilization
Risk & Governance
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure timely resolution of project issues and roadblocks
- Drive adherence to project governance, standards, and best practices
Solution & Process Alignment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and requirements
- Define and drive SAP solutions aligned with business needs
- Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of SAP solutions
- Ensure proper testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards
Change Management & Adoption
- Drive user adoption through training and change management initiatives
- Ensure smooth transition during go-live and post-implementation support
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in SAP functional roles
- 6+ years of experience in SAP Project Management
- Proven experience leading large-scale SAP implementations / migrations (S/4HANA, ECC)
- Strong expertise in at least one SAP functional module with good understanding of other modules
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in one or more functional modules
- PMP / PRINCE2 or other project management certifications
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams
