SAP Practice Head – Offshore
Location: Offshore (India-Bangalore / Global Delivery Center)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a SAP Practice Head – Offshore to build and scale our SAP delivery capabilities while leading a product team developing solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
This is a strategic leadership role combining:
• SAP practice & delivery ownership
• SAP-based product incubation, development, and scaling
The ideal candidate is a practice builder with a product mindset—someone who understands enterprise SAP delivery and how repeatable IP and products are built within SAP platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SAP Practice & Capability Leadership
• Build and scale offshore SAP capabilities across functional, technical, and platform areas (S/4HANA, ABAP, BTP, Integration, Basis, Security)
• Define SAP practice strategy, skill roadmap, certification plans, and hiring strategy
• Establish delivery standards, governance frameworks, and quality benchmarks
• Build and mentor second-line leadership (Capability Leads, Delivery Leads)
SAP Product & IP Leadership
• Lead a dedicated SAP product team focused on building products, accelerators, and IP within the SAP ecosystem
• Own the product roadmap, priorities, and execution aligned with business goals
• Identify product opportunities with business, sales, and client stakeholders
• Drive reusability, standardization, and innovation across SAP engagements
Delivery & Execution Excellence
• Own offshore SAP delivery across implementations, rollouts, AMS, and transformation programs
• Partner with onshore teams for seamless execution and governance
• Lead delivery reviews, risk management, and escalation resolution
• Ensure predictable delivery outcomes and high customer satisfaction
People, Talent & Culture
• Build and lead high-performing SAP consulting and product teams
• Drive utilization, productivity, learning, and retention
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation
• Balance delivery commitments with long-term capability and product investments
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams for SAP solutioning and estimations
• Support SAP growth strategy through IP-led and product-led offerings
• Act as a senior SAP leader in internal forums and client engagements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have Experience
• 15+ years in SAP consulting and delivery leadership
• Proven experience building and scaling offshore SAP practices
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP platforms
• Experience leading or partnering with SAP product or IP teams
• Background in IT services, consulting, or SAP ecosystem organizations
Leadership & Mindset
• Strong practice + product orientation
• Ability to balance client delivery with product investment
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership presence
