Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PP Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between complex production planning business processes and technical ABAP execution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP PP functional configurations while maintaining the technical proficiency to develop, debug, and enhance solutions within the ABAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of SAP PP (Production Planning), including Material Master (MM) configuration, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, and Routings.
- Technical Development: Utilize ABAP skills to design and implement RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) specific to the PP module.
- System Integration: Manage and optimize data flow between SAP and external systems; specifically focusing on BOM management and synchronization.
- Problem Solving: Perform deep-dive debugging of standard and custom programs to resolve complex production issues.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business users to gather requirements, translate them into functional/technical specifications, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Technical Skillset:
Core Requirements (Must-Have):
- Functional Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP lifecycle, including Demand Management, MRP, Production Order execution, and Capacity Planning.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced ABAP Development skills (OOPs ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework).
- Master Data: Expert knowledge in Material Master configuration and complex BOM (Bill of Materials) structures.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 end-to-end implementation cycles.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
- Integration: Knowledge of SAP-TC (Teamcenter) Interface for PLM-ERP integration.
- Advanced Logic: Proficiency in Variant Configuration (VC) and Classification systems.
- Cross-Module Knowledge: Basic understanding of integration points with MM, WM, and SD.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid model from our Bangalore office.
