We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP PP Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a reputed international client.
This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who want to work on large-scale manufacturing transformations, optimize production processes, and contribute to high-impact global programs.
🔹 Role: SAP PP Consultant
🔹 Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)
🔹 Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)
🔹 Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential)
🔹 Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement core SAP PP (Production Planning) processes including:
- Demand Management
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Production Orders & Shop Floor Control
- Bill of Materials (BOM) & Work Centers
- Routing and Capacity Planning
- Collaborate with business and manufacturing teams to gather and document requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and scalable system solutions
- Design and optimize Plan-to-Produce (P2P / Manufacturing) processes
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and resolve functional issues
- Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, and custom developments
- Work on cross-module integration with MM, SD, QM, and other logistics modules
- Assist with data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP Consultant
- Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or support project
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery setup
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP
- Experience with advanced planning concepts (MRP Live, demand-driven MRP, capacity optimization)
- Familiarity with integrations across MM (Procurement), SD (Sales), QM (Quality Management)
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial, or FMCG sectors
- Exposure to PP-PI (Process Industries) or integration with MES systems is a plus
