Job Title: SAP PP Functional Consultant
Position: Software Engineer / Functional Consultant
Experience: 6–9 Years
Category: ERP / SAP Consulting
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Primary Location: India, Karnataka, Bangalore
Employment Type: Full Time
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP PP Functional Consultant with 6–9 years of experience to manage and optimize manufacturing and production planning processes within SAP environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP PP configuration, production planning, MRP, and integration with cross-functional SAP modules while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP PP module for manufacturing and production processes.
- Manage production planning activities, MRP execution, and production orders.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Perform configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Troubleshoot production-related issues and provide ongoing system support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, and QM for seamless integration.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing and planning processes.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 6–9 years of experience in SAP PP functional consulting.
- Strong expertise in MRP, production planning, and shop floor execution.
- Experience in SAP PP configuration and enhancements.
- Good understanding of integration with MM, SD, and QM modules.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementations or support projects.
- Exposure to manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain domains.
- Familiarity with SAP best practices and process optimization methodologies.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP logistics modules.
