Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Prospecta MDO Maintenance Data Consultant to support the design, configuration, and governance of maintenance and asset master data.
The consultant will work closely with maintenance, reliability, and data governance teams to ensure accurate, standardized, and high-quality master data supporting SAP PM processes.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with Prospecta MDO, SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), and maintenance master data governance.
Key Responsibilities
MDO Configuration & Data Governance
- Configure Prospecta MDO workflows, forms, data models, and validation rules for maintenance master data.
- Establish data governance frameworks, workflows, and approval processes.
- Ensure data standardization and quality across maintenance master data objects.
SAP PM Master Data Management
- Manage and govern key SAP PM master data objects, including:
- Equipment
- Functional Locations
- Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Task Lists
- Maintenance Plans
- Maintain asset hierarchy standards and data consistency.
Data Quality & Validation
- Develop validation rules, data quality checks, and duplicate detection mechanisms.
- Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Integration & Technical Support
- Support integrations between Prospecta MDO and SAP PM (S/4HANA or ECC).
- Work with SQL, JavaScript, JSON/XML for configuration and data processing.
- Troubleshoot data issues and support system testing and deployment.
Collaboration
- Work with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, and data governance teams.
- Support data migration, validation, and master data governance initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management
- Hands-on experience with Prospecta MDO
- Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) master data
- Experience managing:
- Equipment
- Functional Locations
- BOM
- Task Lists
- Asset hierarchy
- Experience with data governance frameworks and workflows
- Technical familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, JSON, or XML
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PM environments
- Experience working in asset-intensive industries (Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas)
