Role Overview
As an SAP MM HANA Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions on the SAP HANA platform. You will collaborate closely with clients, business analysts, and other SAP consultants to understand business requirements, configure the SAP system, and ensure seamless integration with other modules. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing procurement processes, inventory management, and material planning for our clients, ultimately driving efficiency and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to materials management processes to design effective SAP solutions.
- Configure and customize the SAP MM module in SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA environments to meet specific business needs.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP MM solutions.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP MM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules, such as SD, FI, and PP.
- Develop and deliver training to end-users on SAP MM processes and functionalities to promote user adoption.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP MM functionalities and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP MM configurations and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement SAP MM solutions in SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Proven expertise in configuring and customizing SAP MM modules, including purchasing, inventory management, and material planning.
- Strong understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve SAP MM issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
