Job Title: Application Developer – SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII) Application Developer to design, develop, configure, and support manufacturing applications that align with business processes and production requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MII, manufacturing system integration, and real-time production data processing. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams, and technical experts to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP MII applications to support manufacturing operations.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP MII.
- Develop and enhance manufacturing dashboards, reports, transactions, and workflows.
- Integrate SAP MII with SAP ERP, SAP ME, MES, PLCs, SCADA, historians, and third-party manufacturing systems.
- Configure real-time data acquisition and monitoring solutions for production environments.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain interfaces using web services, XML, REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, and other integration technologies.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and deployment documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, manufacturing engineers, and IT teams.
- Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and continuous process improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and share SAP MII development best practices.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and quality processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP MII solutions.
- Participate actively in technical discussions and solution design.
- Provide innovative solutions to manufacturing application challenges.
- Collaborate with business users to understand manufacturing requirements.
- Support production deployments and application maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing landscape.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII).
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing application development and configuration.
- Experience integrating SAP MII with enterprise and shop-floor systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
