🚨 HIRING ALERT: SAP IS-U FICA Consultant (8-10+ Yrs) 🚨
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) Consultant with 8-10+ years of dedicated expertise in utilities industry accounting, automated clearing, dunning, payment processing, and general ledger integration.
Experience: 8-10+ Years (SAP IS-U FICA, Contract Accounts, Payment Lots & Clearing Rules, Dunning by Collection Strategy, Disconnection/Reconnection, GL Transfer - FPG1, S/4HANA Utilities)

Domain Context: Utilities Financial Accounting, Subledger-to-General-Ledger Reconciliation, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) & Lockbox Processing, Security Deposits & Installment Plans, Credit & Collections Optimization, End-to-End IS-U Billing/Invoicing Integration
💻 Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and support core SAP IS-U FICA master data and subledger configurations: Contract Accounts, Posting Keys, Document Types, and Account Assignment.
• Implement automated payment processing, incoming payment lots (check/electronic), return processing, and custom clearing control rules.
• Design and maintain dunning procedures, collection strategies, interest calculations, installment plans, and security deposit management.
• Manage integration and periodic transfer of FICA subledger postings to the general ledger (SAP FI-GL via FPG1/FP05) and reconciliation.
• Align and support data flows between IS-U Billing/Invoicing, Customer Service (CIC0/CRM), and FICA.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues, handle mass activity batch runs, and deliver functional specifications for enhancements/custom events.
🛠️ What We’re Looking For:
• 8-10+ years of solid hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FICA (Contract Accounting).
• Strong understanding of Clearing Control, Payment Lots, Dunning/Collections, and FICA-to-GL integration.
• Deep domain knowledge of the Utilities industry (Power, Gas, or Water).
• Familiarity with FICA event management (events/user exits) and S/4HANA Utilities concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
