Role : Manager – IT SAP & IoT Digital Transformation 4.0

Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Information Technology (SAP & Digital Transformation) with 15+ years of experience (preferably from Manufacturing / Automotive background sector) to lead and oversee SAP ECC systems & drive digitalization initiatives. This role requires:
1. Strong SAP functional expertise and leadership skills to guide cross-functional IT teams.
2. A visionary leader who has bridged the gap between legacy SAP ECC environments and the modern SAP S/4HANA ecosystem, while integrating cutting-edge technologies like IoT and Automation solution to drive operational excellence.
3. Overseeing our current SAP ECC landscape while spearheading the strategic migration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA.
4. The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep technical functional knowledge, robust project management expertise, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams of 20+ consultants and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP ECC Management
- Oversee the overall performance, stability, and enhancement of SAP ECC systems
- Possess deep functional expertise in at least two SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM & PM)
- Maintain working knowledge of all major SAP modules to effectively guide and support the team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into SAP improvements
- Ensure best practices, compliance, and system optimization
- Operational Automation - Identify and implement process automation opportunities within the SAP landscape to reduce manual intervention and increase shop-floor efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management - Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business units and external vendors/partners.
- Budget & Governance - Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and ensure compliance with global SAP best practices and security standards.
Digital Transformation / Digitalization
- Drive digitalization initiatives across business functions
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and technology adoption
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement digital tools and solutions
- Support integration of SAP with emerging technologies and platforms
- Integrate Industry 4.0 initiatives, specifically leveraging IoT (Internet of Things) to automate shop-floor processes and enhance real-time data visibility.
Team Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor IT teams including SAP and digital transformation
- Provide strategic direction rather than hands-on technical execution
- Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and KPIs
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to SAP ECC
- Proven experience in managing SAP environments and cross-functional IT teams
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives
- Proven background in Manufacturing or Automotive sectors, with a deep understanding of industry-specific processes
