We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP Integration Consultants to join a global project team delivering a multi-year SAP S/4HANA and enterprise integration transformation program for a reputed international client.
This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who want to work on complex integration landscapes, enable seamless connectivity across systems, and contribute to high-impact global transformation initiatives.
🔹 Role: SAP Integration Consultant
🔹 Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)
🔹 Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)
🔹 Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential)
🔹 Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Work with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, and middleware platforms
- Develop and manage interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData, and event-driven architectures
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and translate integration requirements
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance integration architectures
- Perform message mapping, transformation, routing, and orchestration
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows across systems
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and resolve integration issues
- Ensure adherence to integration standards, governance, and security best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Integration (CPI / PI/PO / Middleware)
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and messaging protocols
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or integration project
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integrations and cloud applications (SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.)
- Knowledge of message protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, OData)
- Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT, and data transformation techniques
- Exposure to third-party integrations (Salesforce, external APIs, legacy systems)
- Industry experience in enterprise or large-scale integration environments
