We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP HCM Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year enterprise transformation program for a reputed international client.
This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who want to work on large-scale HR transformations, streamline people processes, and contribute to high-impact global initiatives.
🔹 Role: SAP HCM Consultant
🔹 Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)
🔹 Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)
🔹 Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential)
🔹 Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement core SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) modules including:
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Time Management
- Payroll (as applicable)
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and scalable system solutions
- Design and optimize Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes across the employee lifecycle
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and resolve functional issues
- Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, and custom developments
- Work on integrations with FI (Payroll), SuccessFactors, or other HR systems
- Assist with data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP HCM Consultant
- Strong understanding of core HR processes (Hire-to-Retire lifecycle)
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or support project
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA HCM compatibility packs or SAP SuccessFactors integration
- Experience with Payroll, Time Evaluation, or Benefits Administration
- Familiarity with integrations across SuccessFactors, FI, and third-party HR/payroll systems
- Industry experience across IT Services, Manufacturing, or Global Enterprises
- Knowledge of data migration tools and HR reporting/analytics is a plus
