Position: SAP HCM Consultant – PA, OM, Time & Payroll
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Remote
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in core SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll. The consultant will lead requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and support activities across the employee lifecycle using SAP SE’s SAP HCM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand HR and Payroll requirements
- Conduct workshops and prepare Business Blueprint (BBP) documents
- Configure and implement:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Time Management (PT)
- Payroll (PY – schemas, rules, posting to FI)
- Write Functional Specifications for RICEFW objects
- Support development, testing, and deployment activities
- Perform payroll schema configuration, wage type setup, and payroll validation
- Create and modify PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and schemas
- Handle integrations with Finance, Benefits, and external systems
- Provide production support and resolve incidents/defects
- Conduct UAT support and end-user training
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and statutory changes
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of SAP HCM functional experience
- Strong hands-on configuration knowledge in:
- PA & OM structures
- Time evaluation and absence management
- Payroll processing and posting
- Good knowledge of:
- Payroll Schemas & PCRs
- Wage types & valuation
- Payroll control record
- Experience in BBP documentation and Functional Specs writing
- Experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end implementations
- Knowledge of integration with FI/CO and SucessFactors EC
- Strong debugging and issue analysis skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or hybrid landscapes
- ABAP debugging basics
- Experience in statutory payroll (country-specific)
- Experience in data migration and LSMW
- Support/AMS exposure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/IT/Engineering or related field
- SAP HCM Certification (preferred)
