About the Role
We are seeking a motivated SAP HANA Consultant with 1+ years of experience in SAP HANA Database Administration. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in SAP HANA administration, installation, upgrades, backup & recovery, performance tuning, and database monitoring. Candidates should have excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SAP HANA installation, upgrades, patching, and database administration activities.
- Install and manage SAP HANA 2.0 MDC environments.
- Perform HANA instance renaming and version upgrades.
- Configure and manage HANA backups, recovery, and point-in-time recovery using traditional and Backint methods.
- Monitor SAP HANA systems and resolve alerts using SAP HANA Studio.
- Perform database restarts and troubleshoot issues in MDC and Non-MDC environments.
- Manage HANA users, licenses, audit logs, and database parameters.
- Enable and manage traces for performance analysis.
- Perform end-to-end system health checks and database performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory utilization, database performance, and backup/recovery.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, system outages, slowness, and downtime while meeting SLA/KPI requirements.
- Support disaster recovery, high availability, and technical migration activities.
- Work with global teams, maintain documentation, and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of SAP HANA Database Administration experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA Database Architecture.
- SAP HANA Installation & Upgrades.
- SAP HANA 2.0 MDC Administration.
- HANA Backup & Recovery (Traditional & Backint).
- SAP HANA Performance Monitoring & Tuning.
- HANA User Administration.

- Linux Operating System knowledge.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Equivalent IT experience will also be considered.
