Contract Position: SAP Functional Expert (IBP, SD, PP, MM, FI/CO)
Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Bangalore - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Expert with strong business process knowledge across SAP modules, including Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Finance & Controlling (FI/CO). The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to drive SAP transformation initiatives, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
Lead workshops and discovery sessions across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance functions.
Configure and support SAP modules including IBP, SD, PP, MM, and FI/CO based on business requirements.
Perform gap analysis and recommend standard SAP solutions or appropriate enhancements.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.
Support end-to-end SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and test scenarios.
Participate in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
Ensure cross-functional integration between SAP modules.
Support change management, user training, and knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills & Experience
6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Functional Consulting.
Strong expertise in one or more of the following modules, with good cross-functional understanding of the others:
SAP IBP
SAP SD
SAP PP
SAP MM
SAP FI/CO
Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation or transformation projects.
Strong understanding of manufacturing, procurement, sales, inventory, and finance business processes.
Experience in business requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
Familiarity with reporting and analytics requirements is an advantage.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in one or more functional modules is preferred.
Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Supply Chain domains is an advantage.
Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BW, Datasphere, or enterprise reporting solutions is a plus.
