Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a SAP Functional Consultant located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The SAP Functional Consultant will analyze and map client business processes, configure relevant SAP modules (such as FICO and Materials Management), and participate in end-to-end implementation and support activities. Gather and analyse business requirements from Supply Chain, Planning, and Business stakeholders.
• Configure O9 solutions to support Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Supply Chain analytics.
• Design and document functional specifications, business processes, and solution configurations.
• Work with business users to translate planning requirements into O9 functionality.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Support integration design with SAP ERP/S4HANA, BW, APO, IBP, and other systems.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Provide production support and resolve functional issues.
• Create training materials and conduct user training sessions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, data teams, and business stakeholders during implementation and rollout.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in O9 Solutions platform.
• Hands-on experience in one or more modules:
o Demand Planning
o Supply Planning
o S&OP / IBP
o Inventory Planning
o Production Planning
• Understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, workshops, and solution design.
• Knowledge of SAP integration concepts.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with CPG/FMCG clients.
• Exposure to SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar planning tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and reporting concepts.
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, process assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
- Solid understanding of Business Process design, optimization, and documentation within enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Materials Management (MM) in SAP, including procurement, inventory management, and related integrations.
- Consulting skills for stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, solution presentation, and client relationship management.
- Experience with SAP implementation or rollout projects, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
