Overview:
The SAP FICO Lead (S/4HANA Greenfield) is responsible for leading the end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI & CO) in a Greenfield environment, establishing a future-ready finance architecture aligned with business transformation goals.
Page Industries is undertaking an S/4HANA implementation, and this role involves enabling best-practice SAP S/4HANA capabilities while driving enterprise-wide finance process standardization and eliminating legacy constraints.
1 Experience & Qualifications
10–12+ years of SAP FICO experience
2–3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield preferred)
Experience leading Finance workstream in large transformation programs
Bachelor’s/master’s in finance / accounting / IT
SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification – preferred
2 Key Responsibilities
Lead Greenfield S/4HANA Finance implementation from design → build → deploy → hyper care
Finance Process Design
Design and implement S/4HANA finance processes across:
Record-to-Report (R2R) – GL, Financial Close, Group Reporting
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) – AP, Invoice Management
Order-to-Cash (O2C) – AR, Credit Management
Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
Controlling (CO):
Cost Centre Accounting (CCA)
Profit Centre Accounting (PCA)
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Leverage S/4 innovations:
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
Real-time reporting & analytics
Embedded Fiori apps
3 Data Migration & Financial Data Model
Define data migration strategy (from legacy → S/4HANA)
2 Validate:
Master Data (GL, Vendors, Customers, Assets)
Open balances and historical data
Ensure data alignment with:
MDG frameworks
Single Source of Truth (SSOT) initiatives
Support data cleansing and reconciliation activities before go-live
4 Integration with SAP & Non-SAP Systems
Design integration with:
SAP MM (Procurement)
SD (Sales & Billing)
PP (Manufacturing)
External systems (banking, tax,)
Ensure seamless financial postings across modules
5 Stakeholder & Governance Management
Act as primary liaison between Finance leadership, IT, and Implementation partner
Manage:
Functional scope
Change requests
Solution validation
Present design decisions and progress to leadership forums
6 Leadership & Governance
Strong stakeholder communication (CFO / Finance Heads)
Program / project management skills
Vendor management (Implementation Partner
Ability to lead cross-functional transformation
