Role Overview
Seeking a senior
SAP FICO Functional Consultant to lead SAP FI production support, enhancements and continuous improvement across core finance processes. The role requires strong AMS, stakeholder management, troubleshooting and cross-functional integration experience.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on SAP FI expertise covering GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Financial Close & Reporting.
- Strong experience in SAP FI configuration, requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, cutover and production support.
- Good integration knowledge with CO, MM, SD, PP, Treasury/Cash Management and external interfaces.
- Experience managing Incidents, Problems, Changes, Enhancements and Releases in an AMS/ITSM environment.
- Working knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, batch jobs, authorization analysis and coordination with ABAP/integration teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end SAP FI functional support and resolve critical production issues within SLAs.
- Gather requirements, configure solutions and coordinate developments/interfaces.
- Lead testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT/UAT, defect resolution, deployment and hypercare.
- Support month/year-end close, audits, controls and planned releases.
- Maintain functional documentation, test evidence and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate with distributed teams and business stakeholders while driving continuous improvement.
