We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year SAP S/4HANA program for a reputed international client. This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity, ideal for consultants who are ready to grow fast, contribute meaningfully, and work on real-world global challenges.
🔹 Role: SAP FICO Consultant
🔹 Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)
🔹 Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)
🔹 Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential)
🔹 Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
📝 Responsibilities
- Configure and implement core SAP FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into system solutions and functional specifications.
- Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
- Assist with data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
🎓 Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
- Good understanding of finance and controlling processes such as Procure to Pay and Record to Report.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or major support project.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with global teams.
🌟 Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with integration touchpoints across modules like MM, SD, and Treasury.
- Prior experience in Pharma, FMCG, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and group reporting.
