Role Description
The SAP FICO Consultant will work full time on-site at the Delhi, OH office, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. This role involves gathering and analyzing financial and controlling requirements, designing SAP FICO configurations, and implementing solutions that align with business processes. The consultant will perform system configuration, testing, and documentation, and support end users through training, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Daily responsibilities include monitoring interfaces, troubleshooting system and process issues, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and coordinating with cross-functional SAP modules for integrated solutions. The role also includes participation in project planning, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong SAP FICO expertise, including configuration of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in an ERP environment.
- Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, solution design, and documentation for SAP implementations.
- Hands-on skills in system testing, defect resolution, data validation, and user acceptance testing in SAP projects.
- Ability to provide end-user training, create user guides, and deliver ongoing functional support and problem-solving.
- Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation or rollouts, including preparation, realization, go-live, and support phases.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and client teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
- Prior consulting experience and exposure to multi-industry environments (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, E-Commerce) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site and occasionally support extended hours during project milestones.
