Role Summary
We are looking for an SAP FICO Business Analyst to support Finance and Controlling initiatives across business and analytics projects. The ideal candidate should have strong SAP FI/CO functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to deliver effective business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, Functional Specifications).
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and finance process reviews with business users.
- Configure and support SAP FI/CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing.
- Coordinate and execute SIT/UAT testing, defect management, and business validation.
- Provide BAU support by troubleshooting SAP FI/CO functional and system issues.
- Perform financial data analysis, reconciliation, data validation, and root cause analysis.
- Support financial reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Incorta, or similar analytics tools.
- Work with development teams to manage enhancements, interfaces, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SD, MM, and other SAP modules.
Required Skills
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO).
- Good understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and financial accounting processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
- Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, defect tracking, and application support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage finance business users effectively.
