Opportunity for SAP FICO Specialist with Consumer Goods Major

Responsibilities
SAP FICO Configuration / Functional Consulting
- Serve as a functional expert in SAP FICO to recommend best business practices.
- Conduct requirement analysis and gathering for Finance & Controlling processes.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications and configuration documents for successful project delivery.
- Configure FICO objects based on business needs.
- Handle the setup and integration of FICO modules with other modules like MM, SD and PP.
- Perform unit testing and validate configurations based on business requirements.
Application Development & Support (SAP FICO Development)
- Act as the technical access point for SAP FICO development and enhancements.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to align FICO solutions with the overall technical architecture.
- Communicate updates and alignments with peers and governance teams.
- Monitor and address FICO related issues and ensure process efficiency.
- Resolve pricing and tax-related configurations and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
SAP Implementation
- Implement SAP FICO solutions to enhance Finance and Controlling processes.
- Fine-tune SAP FICO functionalities to improve the turnaround time (TAT) for processes
as required by stakeholders.
SAP FICO Support
- Address incidents, bugs, and change requests related to FICO processes and resolve them promptly.
- Initiate and implement SAP FICO-related notes to optimize functionality.
- Support the Finance & Accounts team by troubleshooting issues related to order processing, deliveries, and invoicing.
Month end support
- Support to ensure all Month end and period close activities related to CO are completed
and respective posting are correctly done
- Support to ensure allocation cycles, settlement rules are correctly maintained and
adjust as per requirement
- Support to maintain cost centers, cost elements and profit centers make necessary
changes as and when required.
Other IT Projects and Application Support (FICO-Specific)
- Contribute to the development and support of other applications that interface with SAP FICO, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Provide support for end-to-end project delivery related to sales and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to address FICO-related requirements and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in similar assignment with a FMCG/Consumer Durables/Manufacturing company in SAP FICO
- Min. 2 project implementation and support management
- Implementation experience in FI-CO sub-modules like GL, AP, AR, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting and PCA, Product Costing
- Minimum of 5 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting & PCA, Product Costing

Educational Background:
- Post Graduate in Commerce/MBA Finance/ CA/CMA
- Preferred: Certification in SAP S4 Hana FICO or SAP FICO trained
