WMS is currently looking for SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant.
This is a Contract Role of 12 Months and can later change to Full time Permanent. BGV will be done so kindly do not apply if you are looking for Parallel working / Moonlighting.
We are looking for Immediate joiners only!!!
- Primary Modules: FI/CO with Mandatory experience in either of the industries (retail / grocery / FMCG )
- Module Expertise: Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations in either of the industries (retail / grocery / FMCG )
- Duration: 12+ Month Contract with subject to extension
- Location: Remote (India)
Required Skills
- 5+ years SAP FI/CO, including at least one retail or multi-site environment.
- Hands-on experience with data migration and reconciliation for Finance.
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end closing in SAP.
- Proven track record in UAT, SIT, and hypercare support on the Finance side.
- Ability to work as a client-side functional lead alongside configuration consultants.
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Fluent English and Strong Communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead FI/CO test design and execution for all finance scenarios: AP, AR, GL postings, tax, assets, settlements, period close.
- Drive integration testing for FI/CO with MM, SD, and inventory (GR/IR, COGS, revenue, stock valuation). Define and execute UAT with Finance users; consolidate and follow up on feedback.
- Support data migration for finance: GL balances, open items, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers. Perform detailed reconciliation between legacy and SAP balances (trial balance, subledger, inventory valuation).
- Help define and validate cutover steps for finance (freeze dates, open items strategy, final balances load). Contribute to and review training content for Finance and Controlling end-users.
