Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
SAP FI/CO Consultant to provide L2/L3 Application Management Support (AMS) and drive functional enhancements across Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong domain expertise in financial processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
- Support core finance processes including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Manage and support Controlling functionalities, including:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Perform system configuration, enhancements, and change requests based on business requirements.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and implement improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation and support testing activities (Unit Testing, UAT).
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP FI/CO processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules.
- Strong expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) components including:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Experience in system configuration and AMS support environments.
- Good knowledge of integration with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in S/4HANA Finance is an added advantage.
- Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
- Experience in interfaces, data migration, and reporting tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
